N.S. man charged with smuggling drug cream
Well, here's a switch, usually it's the other way around---Americans go to Canada to get drugs. This article from the Chronicle Herald (not sure what city) details one man's quest to smuggle over the counter hormonal cream from the US to Canada. Honestly, I did not know this was an issue for the Canadian government----I guess you learn something every day. I do know that women are able to get prescription strength compounded hormones from a compounding pharmacy (usually called apothocary in Canada) although it is not something that is covered under Canada's single payer system.
