Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 24, 2010 -- The filmmakers of Hot Flash Havoc (www.HotFlashHavoc.net), the most provocative and revealing film ever made about menopause, have been selected to screen their film at the first-annual DocMiami International Film Festival. The documentary will be shown at the Doral Golf Resort and Spa located at 4400 N.W. 87 Avenue, Miami, FL 33178 on May 28, 2010 at 12:30 p.m.

Hot Flash Havoc has been described as enlightening, controversial, humourous, and profound. A crash-course in what you need to know about menopause. The documentary has the potential to be a life-changing experience for women everywhere. The film not only sheds insightful light on the confusion stemming from a decade of misguided facts, it conveys poignant personal stories shared by real women and in-depth interviews with the world's most-noted experts. 1. What I learned is that I was not alone, millions of women suffer through menopause without adequate knowledge. I was fortunate enough to ultimately find a Doctor who understood what I was going through and created a treatment plan that stopped my suffering. This doctor changed my life in 72 hours and made me feel like the women I knew I was. Five days later I returned home and my youngest son said to me, “Mom… I don’t know where you have been but I am glad your back.” ….That reduced me to tears…. This doctor changed my life and I decided change others.

So began my creation of Hot Flash Havoc, the first feature length documentary about a topic that has been taboo to most of us for far too long - menopause. Hot Flash Havoc is a women’s guide to all things menopause - what it is, how it works, what your treatment options are, how to maintain a quality of life while going through it. The film is entertaining, engaging, educational and most of all funny. We interviewed dozens of the nation’s top experts as well as everyday women. We received real-life touching examples about hot flashes, sexual dysfunction, depression, osteoporoses and heart disease. We received dozens of suggested topics women wanted us to cover from bio-identical hormones, to chemotherapy and hysterectomy links to menopause. While you probably know the answer, 99% of women do not.

Now almost 21/2 years later, I have produce a film, the movie I promised, Hot Flash Havoc. Please go visit our website www.hotflashhavoc.com and sign up for Premiers, we will bring a movie to your area, if 2,000 women sign up.
