Hormones Influence Our Attention

Although there is a lot of conflicting information out there about estrogens effect on the brain, it is now thought that high levels of estrogen may impair a person's ability to pay attention and to learn. I certainly subscribe to that theory, as (now) I know I was estrogen dominant for most of my life, and I am certainly ADD (I'm much better now that my hormones are balanced, but I still have a tendency to be scattered).
